High Sierra Fly Fishing Clinics
Goal of Clinic:
Our objective is to provide you with the basic fly fishing skills to become a competent fly angler. The clinic is designed to prepare both beginning and intermediate anglers for just about any fly fishing situation.
Some basic skills will include: Tackle basics, choosing the right gear, casting fundamentals, knots, strategies and tactics for dry flies, nymphs, streamers, entomology and reading water for stillwater, streams and rivers. We will also cover fish conservation and ethics.
We enjoy fly fishing and teaching others to enjoy this wonderful sport. We want you to have the ultimate angling experience. You can expect the best quality instruction and the opportunity to fish some of the Central Sierras finest trout waters. Please join us for some great fun.

June 24th – 25th Open to All Anglers
Cost: $200 for the 2 – Day Clinic
June 28th – 29th Women’s Clinic Only
Cost: $200 for the 2 – Day Clinic
August 26th – 27th Open to All Anglers
Cost: $200 for the 2 – Day Clinic
Final Clinic of the year “Our Fall Colors” Clinic
September 23rd – 24th Open to All Anglers
Details:
Clinic participants receive 10% off lodging and restaurant purchases.
(Because of our remoteness and altitude participants are encouraged to check in the day before the clinics.)

Camping at the Vermilion Campground, resort tent cabins, or lodging in our rustic motel or Yurt cabins.

No more then 3 Anglers per guide, Clinics limited to a total of 12 people.
Materials
Basic necessities such as Fly Rods, Flies, Gators, Wading Boots, and Float Tubes are provided.
(Please feel free to bring any of your personal gear that you may have.)

Private Day Trip Guiding
Right out our back door we have a fabulous selection of water to wet our flies. Outstanding fishing and unbeatable scenery dominate this remote region of the High Sierra.
Day Trip Options: Mono Creek, Edison Lake, Graveyard Basin, Bear Creek, Hooper Lake, San Joaquin River
$350 per day for up to 2 people.
** Horses for easier travel are available for any of our day trips; let’s talk about it prior to your trip in.
