Accomodations

Nestled close to the water with a beautiful lakeview, the comfortable motel units are warm, dry and roomy. They each include two double beds, table, chairs, dresser and bathrooms complete with private showers. Since the resort is powered by a generator, electricity comes on at 7am and goes off at 10pm.

Rooms have two twins and a queen or double, the Yurt cabin (images here) has a Queen, and the trailers have Queen or Double bed accommodations.

Yurt cabin with kitchenette is $95 per night, double occupancy.

Motel rooms with kitchens run $95 per night, double occupancy.

Motel rooms with no kitchens are $85 per night, double occupancy.

Trailers range from $75 - $95 per night, double occupancy.

All rates for rooms, trailers, and the Yurt include linens and towels.

The "basic" tent cabins feature a large tent set upon a raised wooden platform. They are fitted out with metal frame beds, mattresses, a table, chairs and a dresser. Each has an outdoor fire pit for cooking or gathering around at night. These units sleep four comfortably. You will need to bring your own bedding and any camping gear you feel you need. The tent cabins have the best view of the lake!

The rates are $55 per night. These rates do NOT include linens or towels.

Taxes apply to both motel units and tents and are charged in addition to the quoted rates.

Cancellation Policy – Read Carefully

1. A $25.00 non-refundable processing fee is automatically charged upon booking a reservation. This is included in the room fee and not an extra charge.
2. Cancellation: If you cancel less then 60 days before your arrival date you will be charged 25% of what the total room rate would have been. If cancellation is less then 30 days before your arrival date the entire amount is forfeited. Rent will not be returned if you arrive a day late or leave a day earlier from your scheduled departure.
3. 25% Payment is due upon booking a reservation. Cash/check or major Credit Cards accepted.
4. Maximum Occupancy: Tent Cabins is 6 people, Motel Rooms are 4 people. Extra guests will be charged $10.00 per night. This is strictly enforced.
5. Polite Dogs are permitted at a charge of $10.00 per night; guests are expected to clean up the grounds after their pet has done their business. Dogs are not permitted on beds or furniture; any violation will result in a $150.00 clean-up charge.
6. Smoking is not permitted in the rooms and violations will result in a $150.00 clean-up charge.

It has been a tradition at the VVR™ to offer the PCT through hiker the first beverage free and every JMT or PCT hiker one night in the hiker's tent cabin at no charge.
