Phil Davis

Phil says: "I've been fly fishing for over 45 years. Teaching is my profession but fly fishing is my passion. My fishing experience ranges from having fished Alaska to Argentina. I am well acquainted with cold and warm water species of fish. Bottom-line: If it swims I’ll try to catch it.

Since 1972 the San Joaquin and Kings River drainages have been my area of focus and where I have developed significant expertise. This great region of the Western Sierra has four species of trout, Rainbows, Browns, Brook and the elusive Golden Trout.

Having taught High School for 34 years and being a strong family man has helped me develop the patience and expertise to pass on to my fly fishing clients the skills necessary for you to improve into a competent and successful fly fisher.
