Quad Fishing Trips

We are pleased to announce this year’s dates and details for our guided early season Quad Fishing Trips.
Once again we will be chasing the “Monster German Brown Trout”. The best time to catch these elusive trophy trout are the first few weeks that Edison Lake begins to ice off. In order to take advantage of this short window of opportunity we guide our customers into Edison Lake via 4x4 quads for three-day or four day fishing adventure trips.
The 29 mile trip to the remote, isolated Vermilion Lodge & Resort tests man and machine. We leave from Huntington Lake, elevation 7000’ and on snow we will go over Kaiser Pass which sits at 9300’, from there we traverse the backside on our way past Mono Hot Springs @ 6300’ to our final destination Edison Lake, elevation 7700’. During the trip we encounter spectacular vistas, early spring wash-outs, stream crossings, fallen trees and whatever weather the High Sierras decide to throw at us that weekend.
Note: We limit our Quad trips to 12 – 16 people and the dates fill up quickly.
